Since one of their greatest needs will always be feeding the homeless and working poor, R&R brought together Albertson’s and Lotus Broadcasting to create several food drives, including the signature event, “Thanksgiving in April,” which serves a nutritious Thanksgiving meal to hundreds of Las Vegas residents, is attended by business and political leaders, garners local media coverage and raises thousands of dollars in donations. Though fundraising is still an urgent need, donations and awareness in the Las Vegas Valley have continued to increase dramatically.
