Discovery Children’s Museum

R&R Partners conducted a research study to understand current brand perceptions and provide a basis for all communications and fundraising efforts. Web design, social marketing and public relations are working together to send a long overdue message to the public that the Lied Children’s Discovery Museum is a vibrant, engaging experience where children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds can participate in activities that ignite a lifelong love of learning. R&R’s creative services designed sales materials that will assist the museum staff in outlining the various giving opportunities to local philanthropic organizations.

Despite a slow recovering economy, the capital campaign was successful and in March 2013, the new museum opened its doors in Symphony Park downtown next to the Smith’s Center. The beautiful new building is three-stories tall and 58,000 square feet – almost twice the size of the old museum. The Discovery Children’s Museum offers its visitors extraordinary learning experiences and enhanced school, public and extended programs which inspire a sense of wonder and ignite a love of lifelong learning for children and families for decades to come. A new marketing campaign is being created to spread the word that this state-of-the-art children’s museum is open for the community to experience.
