Opportunity Village

Founded in 1954 by a small group of local families seeking to improve the lives of their children with intellectual disabilities, Opportunity Village (OV) is a community of support, caring and joie de vivre. It has become Nevada’s largest private, not-for-profit community rehabilitation program, serving more than 3,000 people annually through vocational training, community job placement, advocacy, and social recreation programs. More than just a charity, the organization operates two work center campuses, a thrift store and hosts some of Las Vegas’ most popular special events, including the Magical Forest at Christmas, The Great Santa Run, O-Vino and the Haunted Forest during Halloween.

The R&R Foundation supports these efforts with public relations outreach, advertising campaigns, Web site assistance and online campaigns, especially seeking to promote OV’s services to area businesses. The overarching message in all of R&R’s efforts is to position OV as a leader in the charity industry.
