Nevada Center for Biomedical Research
The Nevada Center for Biomedical Research (NVCBR), located in Reno, Nevada, is the first institute in the world solely dedicated to the research, treatment and cure of neuro-immune diseases, such as chronic fatigue syndrome. These debilitating illnesses are caused by acquired dysregulation of both the immune system and the nervous system, often resulting in lifelong disease and disability.
Located adjacent to the University of Nevada/Reno’s Center for Molecular Medicine, NVCBR’s approach to integrating patient treatment with clinical research and medical education has made it a state-of-the-art facility. Such a monumental achievement could not have been possible without the support of many individuals and groups, including the R&R Foundation. From the grassroots beginnings of this effort, we have provided strategic branding, creative work, public relations and event production to establish the NVCBR brand and its promise of bringing treatment to this vastly underserved patient population. With the help of R&R Foundation, NVCBR continues to raise money for research and medical support including clinical trials, drug development and diagnostic tools.
