Home should be a comforting word, symbolic of safety, comfort and love. However, for too many victims of domestic violence and child abuse, home has become a terrifying, unpredictable place. Chrysalis, as its name suggests, seeks to provide these victims with a cocoon in which to heal, obtain medical and mental health services and learn self-sufficiency skills that will enable them to start new lives free from fear.
