Studies show that as many as one in three children endure bullying on any given day in America, be it verbally, physically or electronically, known as cyber-bullying. What’s more, findings indicate that bullied children are more likely to suffer from depression and low self-esteem even into adulthood. From ethnicity to stature to social status to sexual orientation and gender identity, bullying is not limited to any particular demographic. In fact, an estimated 160,000 children miss school out of fear. This shocking statistic motivated The R&R Partners Foundation to take a stand against the bullying epidemic with a public education campaign across Nevada called “Flip the Script.”
